About the game

Hellgate 1993 drops you into a dying horror-sci-fi facility with a pixel-art look and a fast pace. Eight worlds stand between you and the last human signal. Each world has three stages: two combat missions, then a boss fight.

Keep an eye on health, armor, ammo and keys as new enemy types show up. Hidden supplies, terminals and sealed sectors reward careful exploring. Explosive barrels can thin out a crowd, but stand too close and they hurt you too.

How to play

• Move with WASD, aim with the mouse, and shoot with the left mouse button. Swap weapons with 1-5 or the wheel.
• Press E at doors, switches and terminals. Find keycards to open new areas, and check the automap with M.
• On a touch screen, drag the left stick to walk, slide a finger on the right side to look, and tap the on-screen buttons to shoot or interact.
• When health or ammo runs low, a reward ad can bring an Emergency Supply once per attempt. After dying, one reward ad can revive you.
