About the game

Musketeers Gunpowder vs Steel drops you into 17th-century combat as the commander of a mixed squad. You move your own character and shout orders to the troops behind you: march forward, turn, hold position, fall back, or go after a target you point out.

A fight comes down to positioning. Keep the squad together, aim them at the right enemy, and use your pistol when the moment is right. You can also hop on a horse and swap the camera view to read the battlefield better. It runs on desktop in a browser and plays solo against the computer.

How to play

Steer the commander with the mouse or a joystick. Press A to make the squad follow you and S to stop it.
Order the squad with W to advance, X to back up, and Q or E to turn left or right. Press D to mark a target.
Press F to fire your pistol and V to mount your horse.
Press Space to switch the camera view.
