About the game

Desert Gunship drops you into an attack helicopter above a desert airbase. Missions vary: flatten an enemy camp, hit a supply depot, rescue survivors under fire, hold off an assault, carry a bomb to its mark, or take on enemy gunships in the air.

After the seven missions comes the Tournament. Twelve countries, three battlefields, three difficulty levels, and one defeat knocks you out for good. Coins and XP from each sortie buy tougher armor, stronger guns and more speed, so a mission that stopped you can be flown again with a better machine.

How to play

• Fly with W/S for forward and back, A/D or Q/E to turn, Space to climb and C to descend. Aim the camera with the mouse and fire with the left button.
• Pick a weapon with 1-3 or cycle with X. Step through targets with N/M or the mouse wheel.
• Press F to pick up or drop a bomb, V to switch between chase and free-look camera, L to free the cursor and H to toggle the control tips.
