About the game

Sudoku is a number puzzle on a 9x9 grid split into nine smaller 3x3 squares, 81 cells in all. Some cells start with numbers from 1 to 9, and you fill the empty ones.

The rule is the same everywhere: each row, each column and each 3x3 square must contain every digit exactly once. You choose a difficulty level before you start, then work cell by cell, watching for mistakes as you go.

How to play

• Click a cell, then click a number from 1 to 9 to place it.
• Use the Notes button to mark possible numbers without placing them.
• Keep every row, column and 3x3 square free of repeated digits.
• Watch out for mistakes while you fill the grid.
