About the game

Backrooms: Exit Protocol 0 is a first-person horror escape game set in Level 0. Your job is to find the keycard, work out the puzzles and get out without running into the monster.

A run is mostly slow, careful movement: check rooms, watch corners, crouch when you need to stay quiet, and sprint only when something is closing in. The puzzles and the monster pull you in two directions at once, so you have to think fast and keep an eye on what's behind you.

How to play

W A S D or arrow keys to move, Space to jump, Shift to run, C to crouch.
E to interact, R to drop an item, right mouse button to zoom the camera.
On mobile, use the joystick to move and the buttons for jump, run, crouch, drop and interact; rotate the camera on the right side of the screen.
Find the keycard and solve the puzzles to open the way out, and stay clear of the monster.
