About the game

Night Lake puts you in a small boat on dark water with a lantern, a rod and a lake that never feels quite empty. Cast, wait for the float to sink, then fight the fish while keeping the line out of the red. Sell your catch, upgrade your tackle and row on to new waters.

Some nights something bigger circles below. Monsters need special bait and strong gear, and they can drag your boat across the lake.

How to play

• Press and hold the left mouse button over the water to line up your throw, then let go to send the float out. Row with WASD or the arrow keys.
• The moment the float truly sinks, click or tap Space, then keep holding to wind the fish in.
• Mid-fight, watch the tension meter and stay out of the red. Hold A or D to tilt the rod away from where the fish is pulling.
• At the dock, E opens the shop. H lists the rest of the keys.
