About the game

English Checkers Online Multiplayer puts you on a checkerboard with one aim: capture every enemy piece or leave your opponent with no legal move. You pick black or white, then choose a computer rival from Beginner up to World Champion, an online match with a real player, or a two-player game on the same screen.

Captures are forced, so every move can open a trap for you or for them. Move hints, undo, a review after each match and several time controls, from unlimited to bullet, help you learn from your slips.

How to play

• Pick a mode, a side (black or white) and, against the computer, one of 10 difficulty levels.
• Regular pieces step one square diagonally forward. Reach the last row and your piece becomes a king that moves and captures both ways.
• Jump over an enemy piece into the empty square behind it. Captures are mandatory, and a jump that opens another one must continue in the same turn.
• Win by taking all enemy pieces or blocking every move they have.
