About the game

LetterHold is a word board game on a 15x15 grid. You draw tiles, spell words and try to finish with more points than your opponent. Each tile you drag shows what the word would score before you lock it in.

Hooking onto letters already on the board can score two words in one move, and a stretch through a premium square pays more. You can play the bot on easy, medium or hard, share one screen with up to four players, or go online by invite, room code or quick match. Three languages are available.

How to play

• Drag tiles from your rack onto the board. Drag a placed tile again to move it. Take back the last tile or the whole turn, then press Play to score.
• Words must touch letters already on the board and pass the dictionary check for your language. Premium squares multiply points, and using every tile in one turn adds a bonus.
• Stuck? Pass, exchange tiles, shuffle your rack or ask for a hint. Highest score wins once the bag is empty and a rack runs out.
