About the game

Rustlings online is a survival game set on an island. You hit trees and rocks for wood and stone, craft your first tools, and put up walls to get out of the open. From there the base grows: floors, roofs, and sturdier materials, from wood to stone to metal.

Other players and island threats are out there, and your health and gear matter in every fight. You can play alone or join a squad of up to three. Nights bring more danger, so keep an eye on the dark.

How to play

• Move with WASD and look with the mouse. Left click uses an item, right click is its secondary action, like aiming. Press E to interact and R to reload.
• Press Tab for your inventory and the crafting menu, then craft tools and walls. Pieces snap together when you build your base.
• Hold V to talk to your squad, or press Enter to type in chat.
• On a phone, use the virtual joystick to move, swipe to look, and tap the on-screen buttons for attack, interact and crouch.
