About the game

Your gun doubles as your engine in Recoil. There are no jump or run buttons. You aim, pull the trigger, and the kick sends your character flying the other way, through handmade levels packed with traps and tight gaps.

Expect to die a lot. Each death restarts the level right away, so you can fix your angle and go again. Shots push you hard, so a slightly off aim means you overshoot a ledge or land on a hazard. Part of the fun is learning how the kick behaves.

How to play

• Move the mouse to rotate your character and point the gun.
• Press the Left Mouse Button to fire. The blast pushes you the opposite way from your aim.
• Use that push to cross gaps, dodge hazards, and reach the goal.
