About the game

CrossTile hands you a pile of loose letter fragments and a theme. Your job is to rebuild a full crossword from the pieces.

Each round starts with a scattered board. Drag two fragments side by side and, when they match, they lock together and travel as one chunk. Bigger chunks make it easier to spot where the crossing words meet. Nothing runs out, so you can test ideas freely and take your time. A hint is there when one stubborn piece will not fit anywhere.

How to play

Check the theme shown above the board; it points you toward the words.
Drag a fragment next to another one that could belong with it. Right matches snap together on their own.
Joined pieces move as a single group, so shift the whole chunk to line up the crossings.
Stuck? Tap the hint button, then keep linking until every fragment is connected.
