About the game

Words with Prof. Wisely gives you a grid of empty cells and a handful of letters. Trace a path through the letters to spell a word, and if it fits, it drops into the grid. Fill every cell and you move on. Some crosswords are hard, so expect a few that make you stop and think.

Spot a word the grid does not ask for and it counts as a bonus, which pays out extra rubies. Stuck on a tough one? Hints are there, bought with rubies or by watching an ad.

How to play

• Drag one line across the letters without lifting your finger to build a word.
• A correct word fills its empty cells; fill the whole field to finish the level.
• Words that are not in the task still count as bonuses and earn extra rubies.
• Use a hint on a hard level, paid with rubies or by watching ads.
