About the game

SandLab is a sandbox where you pour materials onto the screen and watch them react on their own. Sand piles up, water spreads, lava hisses into steam, acid eats through metal and gunpowder goes boom. Over 270 materials are there to mix, from powders and gases to cloner, void and black hole.

Twenty short goals point you toward new experiments: boil water, grow a plant, make glass, light a lamp, bake bread, forge bronze. You can also change the room itself, setting temperature, gravity and wind, or jump to a preset like Moon or Upside down. Pause and step frame by frame to catch what happens.

How to play

• Left click or tap and drag to draw with the selected material. Right drag or Shift + drag moves the camera, and the wheel or a pinch zooms.
• Space pauses, . steps one frame or speeds up, and , slows down.
• V switches between the material, temperature and flammability views. R opens room settings, G opens goals and reactions.
• [ and ] change brush size, and Ctrl + Z undoes your last move.
