About the game

Mahjong Tide is a solitaire mahjong puzzle. The board starts stacked with tiles, and you clear it by pairing identical ones. A tile can only be picked if it is uncovered and has room on its left or right. Any flower pairs with any other flower, and any season pairs with any other season.

Pick a mode that fits your break. Flow never runs out of boards, the daily puzzle is one deal everybody shares, and the Tokaido journey stretches across 55 stations. Free Play adds hundreds of layouts. Every deal is built from a real solution, so each board can be cleared. Quick matches in a row build a chain, and paintings unlock as you go.

How to play

• Click or tap two identical open tiles to remove them. Use the mouse on desktop, touch on phone or tablet.
• A tile is open when nothing is stacked above it and at least one side, left or right, has empty space.
• Any two flowers match each other, and any two seasons match each other.
• Stuck? Use a hint or undo your last move.
