About the game

You run a football club, not a player. Pick one of four divisions, build a squad of 13 to 20, and steer it through a campaign of 3, 5 or 10 seasons, climbing from the bottom to the top.

Matches play out as highlights. When play stops, a touchline card lets you pick the attack side, the build-up or a substitution. Each people plays its own way: Orcs rage when behind, Elves spot odd passes, Undead never tire. Between games you juggle energy, injuries, money and transfer windows.

How to play

• Mouse or touch only. Choose your campaign length, then a club from Divisions 1-4.
• Before kickoff, name your seven starters and hand out as many as two special player orders. The Formation and Squads buttons sit on the top row.
• On the touchline card, pick LEFT, CENTER or RIGHT, then a build-up style: Wide, Central, Direct or Balanced. You get three substitutions per match.
• Switch between Highlights and Full view, and speed matches up with the 1x, 2x and 3x buttons.
