About the game

Echo Rift puts you in the role of the Echo, a small ninja chasing Kaede through a rift. Your goal is to lead her home across ten islands. Each island has seven checkpoints, and each checkpoint gives you a different task: charge a shrine, herd lost echoes, ride a mine cart, or outrun a lava flow. Clear them all, then take down a three-phase boss and walk Kaede to the door.

Your weapons fire on their own, so all you do is move and dodge. Every level-up lets you pick a new power card, and you can evolve weapons and combine them into supers. The tricky part is staying alive while the screen fills up. There are ten heroes, forty tasks, twelve bosses, plus Boss Rush and Endless modes.

How to play

• Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and dash with Shift or Space.
• Pick a power card with 1–4, reroll with R, and pause with P or Esc.
• Your weapons attack on their own. Focus on dodging and clearing each checkpoint task.
• On touch screens, drag anywhere to move, tap the round button to dash, and tap a card to pick it.
