About the game

Everything in Ants Io starts with food. You guide one small ant around a crowded arena, eating what you find so your body stretches out and your colony gets bigger. Other players are in the same space, all chasing the same goal.

Growing is only half of it. Smart moves can make a rival crash its head into your trail, and that turns the rival into a pile of energy you can eat. Boost to cut someone off, stay alive, and aim to be the largest ant on the board.

How to play

• On a computer, move the mouse to steer your ant. Hold the left button or Space to spend energy on a speed boost.
• On a phone, drag the on-screen joystick to move and tap the boost button for a short burst of speed.
• Eat food to grow longer and make your colony bigger.
• Cut in front of opponents so they crash into your trail and turn into energy for you.
